BIO:
E11is is an American singer/songwriter raised in New York and Maryland. She moved to The Netherlands in 2003 and during that time she took co-ownership of electronic music labels, bookings and events. In 2007 she wrote and sang her first song "Love Won't Wait" an electro house tune released on Germany's Kontor Records.

After leaving The Netherlands and relocating to Spain's Costa Blanca, E11is continued working in the dance music industry and eventually penned "Shot Caller", released on Spinnin' Records in 2009.

In 2011 she returned to the States and decided to use the pen name Shanti Ellis instead of her real name as she did in earlier songs. Her 2012 collaboration with Aubergine Machine launched an EP and was a different direction, more experimental and not dancefloor driven. The singing and songwriting collaboration continued including some music production. As a result, a few more singles were released including "Sundown" in 2015. E11is, now signed to Australian publisher TMRW music formerly MOS Australia. continued the AM collaboration to release a second EP, "Wildlife". The single "Only" was the most successful from the followup EP. In 2016 E11is collaborated with Australian producer Paces with the single "Until" on his debut EP.

In 2019, E11is relocated to Los Angeles where she continues songwriting and other creative work.
