Chizu's unique sound blends choppy, lo-fi rhythms with new-age R&B and the emotional charge of indie rock.
Inspired heavily by his time at The Glasgow School of Art completing a Master's in Sound for the Moving Image, Chizu works with emerging visual artists, DJs and creatives who inspire his portrayal of Glasgow's underground audio-visual landscape.
He offers a range of services, including:
• Vocal production/post-production
• Musical arrangement for electric guitar, i.e. writing chord sequences, supplementary melodic voices.
• Art direction consultancy for sound design to motion picture: collaboratively implementing research
strategies, support in applying contemporary sound theory for moving image
• Additional music/atmospheric production (e.g. foley, sound design)
