Over 20 years experience playing all over the world.
After obtaining a degree in Jazz Studies from the University of North Carolin at Greensboro, I toured the world with the Urban Sophisticates, a hip-hop and neo soul band. I also had the opportunity to study with Fred Wesley, former trombonist and music director for James Brown and the J.B.'s. I have recorded and performed with with Niles Rogers, Parliament Funkadelic, Talib Kweli, KRS-One, Dewey Redman, Branford Marsalis, the Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Terri-Lynn Carrington, Bryon Stripling, the Toasters, Who's Bad: the Ultimate Michael Jackson Tribute Band, Mandorico, Ellis Marsalis, Marcus Roberts, John Scofield, Mike Stern, Wallace Roney, Jimmy Cobb, and Reggie Workman. I recently moved to Los Angeles and can offer live or session work.
