Versatile bassist and engineer, quick to pick up tunes and bring musicality to move your songs forward. Let me help listeners stomp their feet to your tunes with a solid upright bass part!
I am a bassist in the Pacific Northwest. I was drawn to the upright bass as an instrument that provides a solid foundation and rich warmth in any application. I'm equally at home putting down a solid groove on the electric bass should the song call for it. I'm formally trained in music theory and have background as a multi-instrumentalist.
I have also worked for nearly 20 years as a recording engineer specializing in work with songwriters and acoustic performers. I'd love to bring my musical and technical strength to help your projects sound their best.
As an audio engineer, in the mixing process I work to create sonic space and depth of field to allow the various elements of the song to blend well together, while allowing each element to shine individually. The conversion and summing equipment I utilize supports this approach to allow the sounds to open up in the listening field, no matter how simple the production.

Guys, listen. Brad is great, really. He will absolutely do you right. Supplied me with some tasty bass and guitar parts for a cover of "Can't Help Falling In Love with You" and because I'm an idiot and supplied him with a dirty track, he had to re-record all of his parts. He happily did so, which saved me a ton of editing. He's a good dude who takes complete ownership of his product. I'll be using him again.

Fast, responsive, great playing, an engineer's ear - I hope to work with Brad again!
Brad is an excellent bass player and a talented, tasteful musician in general. He's also an excellent engineer and producer. He recorded two full length albums for me and I am thrilled with how they turned out. Professional, easy to communicate with... I highly recommend working with Brad.
