Winner of multiple remix competitions and Producer for labels such as Amsterdam's Barong Family and Canada's World-Famous Headquarters.
I'm an advanced Music Producer currently based in Valencia, Spain. I have been working professionally for over 8 years.
I've had the joy to collaborate with multiple artists and labels around the globe such as Savaan, Botnek and Mau5trap to name a few.
I graduated from the University Of Arts London, this gave me experience working alongside many talented singers, writers, and other producers.
My strongest asset is my ability to turn a rough idea into a top industry sounding record, programming synths and effect units to achieve unique ideas whilst remaining true to my client's vision.
I also have a clear understanding of mixing and mastering which allows me to apply techniques and measures along my production workflow to ensure a top quality end result with a very clean sound.
I was classically trained from childhood in music theory which gives me more flexibility when working on multiple genres of music. I'm musically versatile and easy to work with, I promise nothing but the best.

Ambrose took the SoundBetter experience to another level. He was super fast in responding from the start, very professional, apart from being a very talented producer. Highly recommended and I'll record more tracks with him in the future.
Working with Ambrose has been absolutely amazing. He helped bring the song I had written to life with beautiful melodies and perfect electronics. He is super professional and quite fast and efficient in getting the work done. Ambrose is very knowledgeable in music and he knew exactly how to bring my ideas to life. Definitely will be hiring him again for another project.
I can't recommend Ambrose highly enough having worked with him recently on a big project! Whatever we needed, Ambrose delivered on time, every time! His production & writing skills along with his creativity are second to none and we will continue to work with Ambrose on any future tracks for this project.
Ambrose is very capable, he knows what's gonna stand out from a song. He produced two tracks for me, they were delivered quickly and when asked to do some revisions he absolutely nailed them. Absolute star.
Interview with Ambrose Zaldua
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: not yet, hopefully soon
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I'm most proud of my project Eleganto, I've produced an album worth of tracks and signed it to big labels so I'm really hyped about that.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I'm always working on improving my sound and workflow as much as possible. Finishing what I've started and also writing new ideas.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: I own multiple analog synths and work on a MacBook pro with plugins and virtual instruments too so I think it's all part of the same thing. No right or wrong, the result is what matters.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: The best and nothing else
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: It's what I love doing
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: It depends on the track, but usually the normal stuff like what's the pricing and how quickly can I deliver. The price depends on the job and I usually deliver within 24 hours
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That we just press buttons and not actually have an understanding of music itself and that we don't play real instruments. The truth is, wherever there's music there is someone on a computer making everything sound amazing.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: What sound are you aiming for and what are your plans for this track?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Listen to all the demo tracks provided and make sure the terms and conditions meet yours
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Novation LaunchKey, Macbook Pro, AKG Headphones, Korg MS20 mini and a sound interface to plug everything in
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I've been producing for over 7 years - I was a classically trained Violinist.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Both Organic and Modern
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Every artist has something special, I love working with new people - so much to be learned.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Don't be afraid of your own ideas
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Trap, House, Alternative Rock and some pop stuff
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Synthesis and FX processing
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I try to always bring a sense of freshness, I want everyone that hears it asking "How did you do that? - never heard anything like this before"
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: The process really depends on the track, usually, I try to improve the already existing elements to give them a sense of uniqueness and personality but I absolutely love adding new elements and exciting ideas.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: My studio is wherever I'm most inspired at the given moment, my home studio is quite cool with my synths and gear but sometimes the best tracks are made on the move with my MacBook and my AKG headphones.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Noisia, Flume, Skrillex, Zotti, Oliver and many more, I love electronic music so a lot of my influences are from its sub-genres.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I usually get sent a rough idea of what the customer is looking for, sometimes a reference track to guide me and then I get started producing the track, adding ideas etc.
