If you are looking for a mixing engineer you know that all the attention, should and emotion you put in your record need to be taken care of, carefully shaped, treated and processed to be able to shine, hit harder and come out of the speakers. After years spent engineering I will make sure that happens in the respect of your artistry and intention.
My life, education and upbringing all led to the art of production and audio engineering, starting with the obsession towards technology and science (injected by the generations of infrastructure engineers in my family) and with the education I received as a classical pianist. My upbringing in Rome, Italy, exposed me to an underground world of emerging artists, many of which were Hip Hop or Trap rappers. It allowed me to build a foundation in this genre and immerse myself in a genuine world of low budget projects, untrained young musicians and self built tools and studios, while I solidified my mentorship with Fabio Liberatori, history making producer for our country. My time at Berklee College of Music in Boston, where I'm completing my studies, opened up a series of relationships with talented world class musicians working with the most diverse collection of genres in highly equipped professional music studios. It widened my endless appreciation for the creative community and put me up to a highly professional workflow.
Now I love recording artists from vocalists to full bands, mixing genres from trap and pop to Jazz and Rock, mastering and using both cutting edge digital software and classic analog hardware (including self built custom microphones and amps), while prioritizing the communitarian and collaborative aspect of creativity and art.

5 starsLavoro svolto in modo eccellente, un producer professionale e uno studio con tutto l'occorrente
Luca is a really good mixer for handling anything from minute long type beat freestyles to complex musical arrangements. He has a great ear and gives great insight on how to shift the song in the right direction. Big plus for the knowledge; the kid is a musical geek and has an answer to most of your questions. Lastly, he’s a really chill individual and is fun to hang out with!

Interview with Luca Nicchiarelli
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I'm inspired both by musicians who are able to work in every stage of a song and musicians who specialize in one field (mixing in my case). As far as the first category goes, I'm strongly influenced my Mike Dean (Kanye west, Travis Scott, Madonna and many more), who can play different instruments, produce, record, mix and master, always delivering his very distinctive taste in all of his work. Same goes for George Martin, Beatles producer whose ideas in both music, production and mixing still stay modern. I am also influenced by people who specialize only in mixing because they get to be the best in that field, and as far mixing go I really admire the sound of Serban Ghenea, Alex Tumay, Bainzz, Teezio.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I usually take a song that has already been written and produced to bring it to the next level in terms of refinement, details, and audio experience. This might involve many different things depending on the level of completion of the song, which might just need to be mixed, or might need some additional recording, production and fixing. Whatever the song needs to loose that "work in progress" feeling that often is found on incomplete records, I will do it. My speciality is mixing, where I will enhance the sound of every instrument of the song, giving it more definition, putting each one in a different space, and using creative effects to emphasize the energy of the song.
