We tune in to your music. We bring out what you want to deliver. We mix and master but can also co-produce with you, adding instruments and back vocals.
Our educational background includes graduation from City of London Polytechnic, sound engineering department, and music composition at the University of Music and Performing Arts, Vienna.
We have extensive experience in working with samplers and electronic instruments. We can deliver big sound for small acts. We strive to follow and ride the cutting edge of audio engineering technology.
We listen to your material with full attention. Whether you have tracked your arrangement to the smallest detail or just throw a very raw idea at us, we will be glad to start working from any stage.
We like to make drums sound big and guitars wide.
Our mixes always get checked for mono compatibility, especially modern synths.
We tune vocals, phase drums, warp audio.
We give our clients several versions of different loudness targeting specific distribution platforms (YouTube, iTunes, Spotify, etc).
I'd love to hear about your project. Click the 'Contact' button above to get in touch.

Endorse RockIt StudioWith 30 years of stage and studio experience, Flat started collaboration with RockIt Studio over a year and a half ago. Its producers constantly introduce new gear, throwing a technical novelty in at every session. They create great creative atmosphere that helps reveal interesting and often unexpected potential in music. They can step back and just track you or produce your music when you happen to run out of ideas.
Looking forward to revisiting Rockit!
Ernesto Aguirre / FlatWhat can be said about RockIt Studio? Speed, quality, and good will! The atmosphere puts you in a mood for fruitful jamming, while tracking happens with ease and high fidelity. We recorded there on multiple occasions, unfailingly coming out with well-sounding tracks, always glad.
Nosorogov and Valentinych / NosovalRockIt Studio is two seasoned sound designers, Andrey Zhukov and Sergey Novitsky.
Andrey has created a lot of music for Belarus, Ukraine and Russia, including such influential East-European projects as albums by Lyapis Trubetskoy and TT 34, soundtracks to films (The Night Watch, Piranha Hunt, and the TV series Men Don’t Cry).
Author of much interesting music, Sergey pioneered in Belarus’ electronic scene.
The two unite innovative creativity and professionalism. On the many occasions I was their client I always enjoyed timely and high-quality delivery.
Yevgeniy Kolmykov, music producerAs a songwriter, I leave all the space for Mickey (aka Sergey Novitsky) to fill with arrangement, vibe, and fat non-compromising sound. Both him and Andrey Zhukov take off where I leave off and the result is true to the original idea and always innovative. And the atmosphere in the live room is very inspiring, flies you beyond your limits. Endless thanks!
Piotr Kalachyn / The Perfect DabblersGreat place for recording. The guys pick up my ideas with deep understanding and help me bring them forth. Mix with care and love to the sound. My go-to studio!
Interview with RockIt Studio
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Usually our clients bring to us raw ideas
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: We deliberately avoid analog gear due to its higher price and poorer availability in our part of the world, working fully digital and in-the-box. We are addicted to Universal Audio and Antelope Audio with mike modelling. We record acoustic instruments and vocals in a 6.5x5 metre acoustically treated live room. Microphones: Neumann TLM-103, a pair of Shure KSM44, Sennheiser Blackfire 541 , Antelope Audio Edge Solo , vintage ribbon OKTAVA MP-17 (Октава МП-17), OKTAVA ML-17 (Октава МЛ-17), a T.Bone SC100 II Stereoset, Shure SM-57/58. We usually record electric instruments via a DI box and re-amp them. It is our go-to option but we also enjoy recording electric guitars and basses via amps and cabinets but we do not collect them due to space limitations. Drum kits: main acoustic: Gretsch Catalina Club series with a 24" kick additional acoustic: custom-made with a 18"x32" kick several snare drums to choose from MIDI kit: Roland V-Drums TD6-V . Monitoring: Mackie HR624 speakers, Yamaha NS-10M speakers, Sennheiser HD600 & HD650 headphones , Sennheiser HD 280pro headphones for recording drums and vocals
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Steve Albini, Jeff Beck, Jack White, Alan Parsons,
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Mixing, mastering, vocal tuning, recording
