35 year old producer, jazz pianist and composer. I was born in Budapest, Hungary, started producing at the age of 14! I've became a full-time musician 15 years ago, and i'm active as a pianist and producer since then. I've moved to Berlin, Germany for 4 years to spend some great time there.
I produce mostly instrumentals for singers, compositions for Film/TV, and tracks with full vocals. My speciality is backing track production, and i'm also active as an arranger/keyboard/piano player for studio work.
My songs are always colorful, creative, with a punchy modern sound, not too compressed. My style is influenced by classical, jazz,funk,soul,r'n'b, and electronic music.

Interview with Gábor Csordás production
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: this week i'm playing keyboards on the Berlin based Lean Bravo-s album, who is a good friend of mine. After that i'll be going back to the instrumental version of Hello by Adele which i have just created. Then i'll work on my instrumentals that just await singers, and practice for my piano recital that will take place in December.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: full digital, probably i'd use a few pieces of gear if i had them, but nowadays you can just live in the box and get the same sound, with ultimate flexibility
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: basically almost all my life. The career path is twisted, but for everybody i guess.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: groovy electronic pop with a touch of jazz
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: i often like to blend more reverbs so that one is responsible for the 'early' sound, while another one is creating a tail. This way the reverb sounds more 3d. When you are writing your chords, try notes that are out of the chosen scale. If you can find a place to fit these notes, it will give a very fresh character to the song.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: nowadays usually "pop" songs which can be anything from R'n'B to acoustic Pop. These days people want 'trap' - which can also be many things.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: harmony, rhythm, sound
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: freshness, creativity, musicality, depth, more meaning, more groove
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Usually i'm starting with a groove, either on the drums or on the keys, and then i build the song around it. I write the chorus first usually and then add the other elements.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: writing a song with/for a vocalist writing a composition for a briefing creating a backing track from an existing song
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: Running Logic X with many software plugins, Apogee Duet conversion into Yamaha Msp10 studio monitoring. Dedicated studio space with recordable instruments.
