I'm a professionally trained musician. I have been working in a recording studio for 7 years now, where I had a chance to work with various bands and musicians, so I have a real world experience in this field. I have also been playing and touring live for 18 years, as a bass guitarist and a sound engineer.

Interview with sergio
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Feel free to send me as much reference material as you can. I found out that that's the best way to communicate your needs and wishes to me. Words can be misleading...
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I have been performing my own music since I was 9 and had my albums published by the time I was 11. Since then, I haven't stopped making music, focusing more on the music production.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I'm a classically trained musician, and I have a real world experience playing rock, pop, electronic and jazz music, so I'm able to respond to most desires of any client. I'm always always able to follow reference tracks and bring something new.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Depends on the client's needs.. It varies so much, that I don't feel comfortable to generalize.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I have an acoustically treated space designed for precise mixing and mastering purposes. I also have a lot of instruments in this space: an upright piano, double bass, a lot of guitars, bass guitars, synthesizers and drums. I work mostly in the DAW, without any outboard gear. I have a UAD audio interface with amazing preamps and plugins, which gives me a good amount of control and precision over my sound.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Most often I do a complete production of the song - recording, arranging, mixing and producing. But, I consider I am the strongest at the more creative aspects of music production, particularly arranging, adding parts. I am also skilled in editing, quantizing and generally making corrections to the tracks.
