I am a producer/engineer/songwriter living in far West Texas. I run a small independent studio (Brainville) and love working with a wide variety of artists and styles. I have worked with artists kind of big to very small (Black Angels, Lonely Horse, Emily Davis). Love making dynamic, 3D mixes, from simple and organic to dense and psychedelic.

I have been working professionally in audio for roughly 15 years. I started out in Austin, interning under Stuart Sullivan at Wire Recording, where I worked as an assistant with artists like Robert Earl Keen and Gibby Haynes of the Butthole Surfers. I moved down to San Antonio and worked freelance out of Wire Recording (where I recorded a few songs with the Black Angels, two of which ended up on their first EP and LP) and my own home. I moved back home to El Paso almost ten years ago and spent close to a year on staff at Sonic Ranch, working as a staff assistant and engineer. While I was there, I got to work as an assistant with bands like Swans, Midland, Hanson (yeah that one), Molotov, Head and the Heart, and Heartless Bastards. I also worked with incredible producers like John Congleton and Terry Manning. While I was there, I engineered records for bands like Lonely Horse, Femina-X and Blistering Speeds. I then opened a small house-based studio with some friends called Brainville. The studio outgrew the house, my friends moved on, and I found new partners to move the studio into a beautiful new commercial, purpose built space. I've worked with dozens of bands, local and national, and would love to work with you.
