Behind The Plane is a place for beeing creative in recording and producing Music.
My Studio exists since 2011 in Leipzig, Germany.
Besides beeing a Musician in Bands like Marbert Rocel,Karocel, Clueso and Phools, I recorded a lot of Records at our Studio, for example: Jan Roth , Marbert Rocel, Still in the Woods, Trio Schmetterling ,Majofran, Max Prosa , JPD and several Jazz Trios and Singers like Glotze or Sophie Grobler.

Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: Marbert Rocel, is my own Band together with 2 other people. The best fact is we made everything by our own, not only the wirting. we recorded, produced, mixed - oh we not mastered ;) but we do all the Grafix / Videos / Homepages. we love to be as independent as possible. That helped us made 4 Longplayers with full pleasure!
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Phools , our new Band is an indie pop project .
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: mostly analog , because you will feel it.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: we will get the best out of everybody in the band.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Freedom and getting connected to peoples hearts.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: there is nothing mor than Pop.

A: Where you wanna go with your music ? How long do you played the songs already?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Follow your instinct ! Which kind of music do really feel !?

Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I started as Club Dj with Rap and Soul Music, joined some Bands as Live Dj or Mpc / Fx Guy and built besides a lot of Gigs a nice Studio for living my dream. Which is producing and making music 24/7.

A: warm , a bit dusty but authentic !
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Anderson Paak,he is just a groove Monster !

A: Do as much as possible with a mic of your choice instead of Plugins and Loops.

A: Pop, Electronic pop, indie pop, Boom Bap , Jazz, Singer Songwriter

A: Taste and patience
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Warm ,anlog sounding instruments and a good taste and feeling for beeing not perfect.

A: Creating and Recording Music in a beautiful space for keeping all the creative moments and concidences.

A: analog recording Desk plus analog outboard like Universal Audio/ manley / Urei / Motu AVB /Telefunken Preamps and some good Mic´s.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: A lot of Music is more than inspireing. It´s a moment you wont forget or a feeling which is always connected to this song. I really love listening to Jazz and boom bap. Some artists who will stay in my mind: Balthazar, Little Dragon, Hiatus Koyote, Feist, Mathew Herbert, Dj Koze, The Roots, Mos Def, Erykah Badu
