Hi, I'm Ryan, a professional songwriter and session musician from Chicago!

I specialize in folk, Americana, and indie rock songwriting, but am comfortable in our new genre-less world. I've written on projects for Mack Trucks, an upcoming Amazon TV series, and the US Army along with dozens of podcasts, Youtube channels, and numerous independent artists.

I'm a multi-instrumentalist, able to provide session work on banjo, male vocals, fingerstyle guitar, flatpicked guitar, electric guitar, bass, mandolin, or keyboard. For the banjo I specialize in Scruggs and melodic style 3-finger playing, but am also comfortable in clawhammer. I've studied under Greg Cahill and attended Bela Fleck's banjoj camp.

Along with songwriting and session work I'm able to provide full band productions from my studio in Chicago. I've composed and produced works to brief for games on Steam and Youtube channels as well as my commercial work featured on Amazon.
