I had tried to make my second full-length record for years, but just couldn't seem to find a producer who understood the sound and vibe I was trying to achieve with my songs. Finally, I was in the studio with Dale, and immediately knew that HE was the producer I had been looking for. His musicianship, his production knowledge, and his eagerness to try new ideas are what propelled the creation of that record, and I am grateful. Aside from his many musical accreditations, he's a warm-hearted, open and sweet guy. If you're lucky enough to have the chance to work with him, do it!

Dale was an absolute pleasure to work with. We produced a single late last year and I hope to have him work on my next record. The process felt very organic - there was easy communication, with him making valuable suggestions and additions while still respecting my artistic vision. He followed up with minor revisions after I left the studio in a timely fashion so that I was completely satisfied with the final mix.

I recently recorded my first full-length album with Dale. Not only is his studio space cozy and comfortable and conducive for focused work, the space he creates with his calm and patient presence is ideal for the intense process of recording a studio album. He shared enthusiasm for my project that helped spark new ideas and made our final product something I was totally happy with. He has a natural way of conducting a recording studio and I would absolutely recommend his work to an artist looking for a producer, mixing engineer, mentor and friend.

Dale is a magician when it comes to producing records! The sound he creates in his studio definitely has a uniqueness and style of his own but without changing the overall vision of the original idea of the record. Dale produced, mixed and played on my record The All Canadian Soundclash and basically created something ten times better than what I could have ever imagined it could be.

Dale mixed my last album, and I would happily work with him a zillion more times. He came highly recommended by my producer, Nathan Wiley. Dale brought a fresh perspective to the songs with his creative choices. He is a pleasure to work with, communicative, and very professional. He’s enthusiastic about the projects he takes on, and has great musical taste (and a great ear). I’m insanely pleased with the sound of my album, and I’ve heard nothing but good things about it from listeners and audiophiles. I’m very much looking forward to working with him in the future.

Dale produced, recorded, mixed, and played on both of my albums. Working with Dale was by far the best decision I made throughout the process. Dale produced my last album and he helped me shape the abstract, and sometimes rather vague ideas I had, into a fully realized vision that far exceeded my expectations. Dale is not heavy-handed I his approach, rather he makes gentle and informed decisions that are ultimately in service to the song. I couldn’t recommend him more highly.

Well, Dale recorded and produced my album The Rocket Swing. Even if the result would not have been as good as I hoped, it would have been OK, because we had a blast. But the result was beyond my expectations. If you want your music to shine, call Dale Murray!

Within two years of working in the studio and touring with Dale Murray I wanted to marry him. So, I did. And since then, we've made many records and toured over a thousand shows together. Trust me, if he wasn't world class at everything, I would have left. You won't regret hiring him. He's brought out the best in me as an artist, is fun to work with, is one of Canada's best guitarists, and is the most reliable person I know.
