Conservatory trained Clarinetist and Saxophonist that specializes in a blend of classical performance, jazz, and commercial music.
Andrew J. Buckley is a Senior completing a degree in Music Education at Baldwin Wallace Conservatory of Music with instrumental concentrations in Clarinet, Saxophone, and Flute. Currently, he is a clarinet student of Daniel McKelway, and has studied saxophone with Steven Banks and Greg Banaszak, as well as flute with Sean Gabriel and Bradley Batz.
As a student at the Baldwin Wallace Conservatory of Music, Andrew has performed with the Symphony Orchestra, Symphonic Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, and Jazz Ensemble.
In addition to performing in the pit orchestras for Baldwin Wallace musical theatre productions, during the summers of 2018 and 2019, Andrew also performed as the Principal Clarinetist with the College Light Opera Company Orchestra in Falmouth, Cape Cod.
Andrew's most recent performance projects include world premieres of new compositions for wind ensemble and clarinet, as well as creating multi-dimensional concert experiences that incorporate both classical and new music in a setting that engages and connects with modern audiences.
Andrew has also performed on a number of Conservatory honors recitals, and has performed in notable concert halls around the country such as Severance Hall, and Carnegie Hall.
