I don't focus on sounding like other singers. Let's create a unique track together and make something authentic. I've written with artists such as Ester Dean, Nikki Williams, Mathieu Koss, Celestal, and others. Sia and Katy Perry are my favorite pop sounds. My specialty is singing on features for EDM tracks and demos.
2 hit songs with Celestal. I wrote the top line and performed as the featured artist. First, "Old School Romance" topped the charts in Italy. Then "Voodoo" was #1 in radio in Poland.
With my 3 octave range and creative phrasing I can bring life to your recorded song. I'm also an award winning songwriter. (Winner of the Alchemy Songwriting Competition and Winning Pop Song for the WWAHM Contest, Best Pop Song of the 2nd Alchemy Songwriting Competition, Honorable Mention 14th Billboard Song Contest.)
I've worked with some of the top people in the industry.
DEMO: A demo is strictly for demonstrating purposes! My vocal performance is NOT permitted to be posted/released anywhere (youtube/soundcloud etc)-A demo is strictly to pass along through email (mngr's labels publishers etc) or press play for people. Never to be put out.
Uncredited Feature: You have full permission to leave my voice on the song for the final version/released version without crediting my name for the feature. My vocal performance will remain an "anonymous vocal" (or ghost vocal), hence, "uncredited feature". :)

Really talented and beautiful voice singer. In addition, a wonderful personality. Rachel can read the thoughts and that make cooperation work very smoothly. :) I really hope that I can make some co-op in future.

Rachel was one of the best communicators I have worked with. She let me know every step of the way how things were going and what the next step was. On top of that, the vocal she delivered was awesome! Just what the track needed to shine. She was very receptive to instruction and delivered quality. Would love to work with her again!

Thanks Rachel, - check_circleVerified
First, Rachel was incredible assisting me on finishing my lyrics for a song that was almost complete. Second, she was outstanding putting up with me when I changed my mind that I wanted to work on the another song rather than the one I originally brought to the table!

Interview with Rachel Pearl
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: What are your goals for this song? What would you like to achieve?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Ask plenty of questions and give as many details and sound references as you can. Both parties should feel free to ask what ever is on their mind. Nothing is too small. And less is not more when it comes to telling me what you want.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I have a simple setup at home in my living room. I have a large diaphragm microphone, audio interface, and Logic. I can record and send you files fast because I don't have to book studio time.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Most of my work is writing and performing top line for electronic dance songs, but I also sing a lot of demos, and I do parodies and voice overs as well.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Sia is my spirit animal. I'm writing and recording songs to pitch all the time.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I like the challenge. Adding passion to your song is something that intrigues me.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I'm a singer-songwriter. I started writing 16 years ago, but I've been singing since a young age.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: I've recorded with both! Unfortunately, I can only record digitally in my studio. There are so many options with analog, but it's like comparing vinyl and CDs.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: My looper, memo recorder, omnichord, ukulele.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Pop with a jazzy tone. I can straighten the phrases and vibrato out.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I would like to work with so many greats in the music industry. I've had the pleasure of working with Ester Dean and some of Dr Luke's camp and I look forward to making even more connections.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Do more takes instead of trying to fix it in post production. You can't fake a good live performance.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I listen to the song a few times to really let the mood and lyrics set in. Then I sing it as few times to settle it in my range and give it life.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I'm always writing and demoing my own material for pitches.
