Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

A: There's quite a list...but my initial project was LeAnn Rimes' "How Do I Live," in 1998 where my Mr. Mig remix soared to the #1 spot on four distinct Billboard charts in the US. It marked the groundbreaking feat of turning a country song into a hit dance track. I also helped in the development of Taylor Swift and many other artists!

Q: What are you working on at the moment?

A: I'm currently immersed in a range of projects, including song production, remixes, custom beats, mixing & mastering projects, and Sync work in advertising and film. Never a dull moment! 😄

A: I get that some clients might feel like they're bugging me with requests or revisions. But seriously, making sure you're happy is my top priority. Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

A: I typically request to listen to their rough mix (if they have one) to grasp their vision and direction. Additionally, I ask if there are any questions they have for me, aiming to provide answers that contribute to their comfort and confidence in the collaboration.

Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

A: Embarking on this incredible journey at the age of 7, I faced numerous challenges until, at 24, I achieved a significant milestone with a 3 million-selling project. Q: How would you describe your style?

A: Incredibly diverse, a quick Google search for "Mr. Mig" reveals my association with major artists ranging from Faith Hill and Leann Rimes to Madonna and Jason Derulo.

Q: What's your strongest skill?

A: My key strength lies in effective communication and a keen ability to take direction. Throughout my extensive and successful career in music, I've been recognized for my collaborative and ego-free approach, making me easy to work with. My ultimate goal is to contribute to an artist's success, prioritizing their best interests. Rather than singling out one particular production skill, I pride myself on being a perfectionist in every aspect of my work, considering it my distinctive calling card. Proficient across various roles, I excel as an audio engineer, handling tasks from recording and editing to mixing and mastering. As a producer, I manage recording, editing, pitch correction, and harmony creation. Additionally, my skills extend to composing and songwriting, where I craft music, lyrics, and melodies for my clients.

Q: What do you bring to a song?

A: I have over 20 years of experience, with highlights such as contributing to over 40 RIAA Platinum-certified projects. My musical style blends Pop Radio, EDM, and Hip Hop elements. Renowned in the industry for my proficiency as a vocal producer, songwriter, beatmaker, and mix engineer, I'm capable of overseeing the entire song creation process, from crafting lyrics and melodies to handling composition, ensuring a comprehensive musical experience.

Q: What's your typical work process?

A: I always begin by asking questions to gain an understanding of my client's goals and to ensure that I am the right person for the job. Once a project is initiated, typically within 24-48 hours, I send the first mix draft as soon as I believe I have achieved the desired direction and objectives. After my client listens, I welcome their feedback, and then I address any changes or modifications they request. After completing the final round of revisions, I send the final mixes along with any other mix variations requested.

Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

A: I am the owner of a commercial studio in NJ, which you can visit at www.AudiomaxxStudios.com. My computer setup comprises an iMac, MacBook Pro, and Mac Pro Tower. For speakers, I use a combination of Yamaha H series, Alesis Prolinear, and KRK. My arsenal of digital audio workstations (DAWs) includes Logic Pro, Ableton, ProTools, and FL Studio.

Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

A: As a versatile producer and engineer spanning multiple genres, I have a broad musical palette, appreciating a wide range of styles. I draw inspiration from diverse genres, crafting my unique interpretation. My musical influences include artists such as Eminem, Duran Duran, The System, Post Malone, David Guetta, and The Weeknd. The result is a truly eclectic blend that defines my creative approach.

A: Any artist who is passionate and feels good about bringing me into their musical world.

Q: What do you like most about your job?

A: This is the job I've always dreamed of. I get to craft music every day for clients worldwide, and that's pretty amazing. I consider myself blessed. When someone tags me online after we've collaborated, it's such a fantastic feeling, knowing they're proud to share with the world that they're pleased with the work we've done together.

Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
