Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

A: There are so many! My first project was LeAnn Rimes "How Do I Live". My remix became the #1 single in the US on 4 different Billboard charts. It was the first country song that became a hit dance song. There are sooo many but I also recently remixed Zedd & Alessia Cara's "Stay". The remix just kicked off the Hollywood Hamilton's RemixTop30 Countdown this past weekend (Syndicated iHeart Radio show on over 100 radio stations).

Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A: Is price negotiable? Absolutely. How quickly can you get this done? I am super fast without sacrificing quality.

Q: How would you describe your style?

A: Extremely DIVERSE. If you Google "Mr. Mig" you will see my name attached to major artists from Faith Hill & Leann Rimes to Madonna and Jason Derulo.

Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

A: Any artist who is passionate and feels good about bringing me into their musical world.

Q: What's your typical work process?

A: I always start with asking question to try and get an understand of what the artist is trying to achieve and to make sure I am the right person for the job. Once I begin a project, I see along samples of my work for a approval once I feel I have accomplished the direction and objective. Depending on the response from the client. I will either complete the finals or make requested changes to the project.

Q: What do you like most about your job?

A: It is the job I ALWAYS wanted to do. I get to create music 7 days a week for clients from all over the world. That is awesome. I am blessed. When someone tags me online after I work with them it is an awesome feeling that they are proud to let the world know they are happy with the work I did.

Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A: Just ask me anything you want and don't assume you can't afford me. I love working with new people and I embrace indie projects as much as major ones. I want you to feel comfortable. I want to work with clients who are confident and excited to work on a project with me.

Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

A: I started at 7 years old and had a pretty amazing journey. At 24 I had a 3 million selling project after years of struggle. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

A: I am currently working on various remixes, instrumental beats, mixing / mastering projects as well as major advertising and film work. I also run Headhunter Promotions and am the Head A&R for 418 Music (electronic label in the US). Oh and I am a mixshow dj on over 100 radio stations weekly lol. Never a dull moment!

Q: Analog or digital and why?

A: Digital: Creative options and possibilities are endless. When an idea strikes me I can implement it in a heartbeat for a client.

Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

A: I will not take on a project if I don't truly believe I can do 100% justice to the outcome of the project.

Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

A: Some people assume that they are being pests when they have requests or revisions for me. My #1 goal is your satisfaction. I want your positive verified review. It raises my popularity on Soundbetter and that brings me more great clients!

Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

A: Macbook Pro, usb keyoboard, pioneer 1500 headphones, external hard drive, usb microphone

Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

A: EVERYTHING - I have a 20 year career because of my versatility! I am a Pop, Hip Hop,R&B, Rock and EDM producer and am credited on over 400 major projects in all these genres.

Q: Can you share one music production tip?

A: "It's The Ear, Not The Gear" & "There are NO rules - If It sounds good it is good"

Q: What's your strongest skill?

A: My strongest skill is knowing how to communicate as well as take direction. I have had a long and successful career in music thus far as a result of being what others would say is easy to work with with no ego. At the end of the day I want to be a part of an artist's success and that means I must do what is best for them. I do not have 1 production skill that is stronger than the others. I am a perfectionist at everything I do. My work is my calling card. I am proficient as an audio engineer (recording, editing mixing, mastering) producer (recording, editing, pitch correction, harmony creation), composer/songwriter (I create music, lyrics & melodies for my clients).

Q: What do you bring to a song?

A: I bring over 20 years of experience including a Grammy Nomination and credits on over 40 RIAA Platinum certified projects. My sound is a heavy combination of Pop Radio and EDM for the clubs. I have an industry reputation for being a strong vocal producer and editor as well and can create a song start to finish (including lyrics, melody and composition).

Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

A: I own a commercial studio (www.AudiomaxxStudios.com) with 3 vocal booths, 2 Macs (1 Quad and 1 Macbook Pro). We have Westlake monitors, an array of keyboards including Korg, Roland, Yamaha and a ton of the latest software. I am an expert in Logic and Ableton and we also use Protools when requested by the client.

Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

A: I love the groups Duran Duran and The System. Even though I produce modern Pop and EDM music I find that my work is heavily inspired by the songs of the 70's, 80's and 90's!

Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

A: The most common work I do for clients is Original Song Productions, Remixes, Mixing, Mastering and Instrumental Remakes.
