My Bio:
Mr. Mig is one of the most versatile producers/Remixers/ and Songwriters in music today. He had his first #1 remix at the age of 24. The record was Le Ann Rimes’ “How Do I Live” . That remix sold close to half a million copies in 3 months. The record eventually was certified 3x’s platinum. Following a string of successes with records on major artists such as Brian McKnight, Faith Hill, Hanson, Vitamin C., No Authority and many others, He signed his first publishing deal as a songwriter with Emerald Forest/Monileigh Music , an independent publisher who also housed writers and artists such as Macy Gray, Marilyn Manson, Sophie Hawkins, The Eagles and others. 11 years later and hundreds of records later, he has written, produced, remixed and engineered projects for some of the most noteable acts in modern music including Taylor Swift, Beyonce, Backstreet Boys, Britney Spears, Omarion, Lucas Prata, John Legend, Bow Wow, Akon and many others. He has produced and written music for film, tv, and advertising clients such as Sony Pictures, Walmart, Reebok, Ketel One, Thomson Reuters, Oppenheimer, BEBE and more. Interview with Mr. Mig

What's your strongest skill?
Audio Engineering (recording, editing mixing, mastering) Vocal Production (recording, editing, pitch correction, harmony creation), music composition (I create the music for all my clients).
What do you bring to a song?
I bring over 20 years of experience including a Grammy Nomination and credits on over 40 RIAA Platinum certified projects. My sound is a heavy combination of Pop Radio and EDM for the clubs. I have an industry reputation for being a strong vocal producer and editor as well and can create a song start to finish (including lyrics, melody and composition).
Tell us about your studio setup.
I own a commercial studio (www.AudiomaxxStudios.com) with 3 vocal booths, 2 Macs (1 Quad and 1 Macbook Pro). We have Westlake monitors, an array of keyboards including Korg, Roland, Yamaha and a ton of the latest software. I am an expert in Logic and Ableton and we also use Protools when requested by the client.
What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
I love the groups Duran Duran and The System. Even though I produce modern Pop and EDM music I find that my work is heavily inspired by the songs of the 70's, 80's and 90's!
Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
The most common work I do for clients is Original Song Productions, Remixes, Mixing, Mastering and Instrumental Remakes.
