Born in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains of Virginia, Jon Via started his music endeavors at a young age. When first picking up a 6 string, he knew his love for music would stay with him for life. After his high school years, he followed his passion all the way to Los Angeles, California. After playing with local bands and a short stent on the road touring, he decided his efforts were better put within his own sound as a songwriter and lyricist.
