I worked with a few local Mixing and Mastering engineers for my tracks and there was always something missing. I found Tim on Soundbetter and I thought I give it a try. Best choice ever! This guy really knows what he is doing and finally I've got the result I always imagined (actually it sounds even better than that). Tim finished the project on time and even adjusted a few things according to my wishes on the first version. Won't be the last time! Thanks a lot Tim!

I hired Tim for 2 of my singles for my singer-songwriter project. He did the whole shabang, production, recording, mixing and mastering. Not only is he a great producer but a great musician himself who plays many instruments well, this is a huge asset for a producer/engineer. I look forward to working on future tracks with Tim, no doubt!
Working with Tim took my music to a completely new level.
His broad knowledge of all music genres as well as his motivation and dedication to every project convinced me to collaborate with him.
He is not only musically highly competent, but also very friendly and down to earth as a person.
I feel comfortable in his studio, which is very important to me as an artist.
He knows exactly how to translate emotions into sounds which makes communication so easy.
The end product is not only good quality wise, but also very musical.
Combining these two things is an art that Tim has mastered. It has always been a pleasure working with Tim. He is a very precise, calm and capable Producer with huge Music theory knowledge, who knows exactly how to transpose your Music from the very first Idea to the final master Version. He can also takeover unfinished projects that you might have been struggleling with and you can be sure that he‘ll get the Job done in the best possible way. A True Engineer and a great personality. Mr.Soundcompanion.

A: To make people and consumer happy with delivering great sounding music to them!
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: If I can send them the tracks and stems for their live shows as well. The answer is: No problem!
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That a song becomes loud in the mastering process. A mix becomes loud in great mixing process! Mastering is only 10% of the result maximum.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: Which wishes they exactly have on the result, that I can fulfill them!
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Fabfilter Q3 Fabfilter L2 Izotope Exciter Vocalalign Neve Portico Masterbus Processor
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I work as a full-time and professional music producer & mixing engineer since around 2018.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: There are so many good artists out there. I love to work with everyone who makes music from the heart!
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Delivering a full, loud and dynamic sound at the same time - and this without distortion! Overall - The radio ready sound all people know from famous records out there.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I add a full, open and big sound to your records. But most important: It will let the listeners start vibin to your music!
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Get a coffee and on every step and decision I do to your music I make sure, that the vibe and musicality is the best possible. Make some pauses to become objektive and as soon as I am completely happy with the result I will send you a mixdown. And in 99% of cases the artists love it without a wish for a revision.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: My main monitor system are the famous Amphion Two 18 with a "Bob Katz" favourite subwoofer from JL-Audio. I love to use a hybrid setup for production, tracking, mixing & mastering. Beside my analog stuff like a SSL Analog Mixer, Rockruepel, LA2A Compressors and I use a Universal Apollo Converter in my chain. Also I use Access Analog to have access to analog outboard like Neve Portico Masterbus Processor, Pultec EQ and many more. On the Plugin Side I have all state of the art mixing & mastering tools like Universal Audio, Soundtoys, Waves, Fabfilter, Izotope, Antares Autotune & Co. To guarantee the translation of your music to any device out there I use some very nice bluetooth speakers and the Neumann NDH 30 Headphones.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I really like a lot of music out there! I like modern pop stuff like Dua Lipa, Olivia Rodrigo, The 1975 or Tyla. In the hip hop area I like Travis Scott, The Weekend, Central Cee. On the other side I really like organic indie & alternative styles like Mac Demarco, Phoenix or Olivia Dean. Overall I really like a lot of much - most important for me is, that it's vibin!
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Most of my work is the mixing & mastering of music for artists from all over the world. Beside my love for mixing and mastering music I really like to do full productions for artists in the genres pop, indie & hip hop.

A: Christian Raffael Dücker! He´s a genius on the keys and his repertoire of rare analog synthesizers is crazy!

A: Both! The reason why the sound of modern music productions is so gorgeous is the combination of the analog warmth and the precision of digital tools.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: You will be happy with the final product. Why? I never had a unhappy client!
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Vibin!
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Zero is the border. So safe headroom on individual tracks using compression, limiters or soft-clip and you'll get a crazy loud and hitting mix, without distortion!
