Interview with rebeloffspring

  1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  2. A: First Things EP, It was my first ep and was really close to my heart, took me 2 months to finish production and another month to process it and release it. I did everything in it from Production to Mastering. etc.

  3. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  4. A: Depends, I personally use digital equipment since analog isn't preferable or superior when it comes to Electronic Music.

  5. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  6. A: I am very flexible and I promise you I'll deliver you on time and with my best performance.

  7. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  8. A: Just being able to turn what I love most to a job makes me feel really happy.

  9. Q: How would you describe your style?

  10. A: Usually emotional and slow bpm and kinda future bass-ish. I do eerie stuff too as part of my production, it's really fun

  11. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  12. A: Porter Robinson, SOPHIE, DROELOE, Vera Blue.

  13. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  14. A: Focus on the "Music" part before stressing about the "Production". At the end of the day, we all want to make art or complete someone's art, so remembering that is really important in my opinion.

  15. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  16. A: Future Bass and Downtempo are genres I find myself creating alot.

  17. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  18. A: I can do any genre of Electronic music, If I have the space and time to learn at least the basics, then I can perform really well on most Electronic Music genres.

  19. Q: What's your typical work process?

  20. A: I just open up my DAW and start trying to write melodies, that is if I am making music for my own artist name But, if I'm working with someone I usually try to do the job as soon as possible and with as much effort as I can.

  21. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  22. A: Flume heavily inspires my work.

  23. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  24. A: Production is usually what I do, I made some samples online and sold a few of them and shared most for free, so I can say I can design sounds too. I can also mix and master the project I'm already working on if the project I'm working on is on a limited budget.
