Andrew is a Los Angeles-based mixing engineer, producer and musician.
I am a Los Angeles-based Mix Engineer. I have been mixing for 9+ years and have worked with several indie artists both in the US and internationally. My goal is to help bring the song creation process to completion through mixing and/or mastering. I want to understand the artist's vision for the song as it is my responsibility for helping to bring that vision to life.
I am also a classically trained piano player who can play by ear which gives me an advantage over other mixers who don't have a musical background. Every phase of the song creation process is important -- having great sound selections, having a great melody, having a great performance during the recording process. If you've done all of that work, the mix should be great as well. Let's work together to get your song to the finish line!
I mix completely in the box using:
DAW:
Pro Tools
Logic Pro X
Plugins:
Waves
Soundtoys
Slate Digital
Universal Audio
Plugin Alliance
and many more....
I have included samples of my work in my profile. Please visit my website wrightbrainedmusic.com to see more of my portfolio.

Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: Matty Harris
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: What are you goals for the song? Where do you see this song being played? How will you distribute the song? What was the inspiration for the song? How did you record it (at home, studio)? What is your deadline?
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I would love to work with Victoria Monet and Anderson Park.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: R&B, Hip Hop, Opera but all genre's are welcome.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Because I'm a musician myself (classically trained piano player who can also play by ear), I have a feel for making good decisions what works well musically. I'm also extremely studious and I am relentless about making the song sound competitive with what is currently playing in the market.
