Great mastering work and communication. The whole project was finished in a few days and I am very satisfied with the work.
I am really happy with the end result!
I Have been looking for someone who knows what they are doing when it comes to hip hop instrumentals and feel Eric is this person.
Eric got back to me real quick and was easy to deal with from the get-go.
I am already planning on using him for my next project.I cannot say how happy I am with Eric as a person.Always kind and helpful, fully reliable. He totally understood what I was searching for and giving pro feedback on my mix. I am very happy with the result. On top my label which releases the track was very happy with the result.
I am in the lofi hiphop/chillhop scene. I am sure Eric has so good technical mastering and mixing skills that he could handle any other genre.
So 5 stars... would give more if I can ;)
Great quality and service! Answered any questions we had and delivered an awesome final product!
Eric was great to deal with. A+
Interview with Eric H.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I've been signed to a chill/lofi record label for a couple years and have been doing very well, I recently started releasing tracks from my upcoming album and got 2 out of 2 editorial playlist placements so far.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: Satisfaction
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: The freedom of working on something you love as well as being your own boss.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: If you're looking for someone to master your track, make sure that it is properly mixed beforehand because a well mixed track is the first step to a good sounding master. If not I also provide mixing. :)
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I was a full time sound engineer for 4 years after graduating from my course, but now I want to start working as a Freelance sound engineer.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: My best tip for music production is to take breaks here and there while producing. Whether it's an hour or a day, coming back to your project with a fresh set of ears can help point out flaws in a mix or even help you get inspired if you're hitting a block.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: My go to genre is usually in the hip hop range as I have the most experience with this genre.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring the clarity and tone out of songs through critical listening and detailed mixing/mastering.
I was the Mixing and Mastering engineer, as well as the Artist and Producer in this production
