I've worked with Lenny for as long as I've been producing and his work is stellar. Lenny's work has a crispness that I believe is hard to find. He's been able to take my work and take it to the next level. I always enjoy working with him, and I'd highly recommend him to anyone looking for a professional mix and master.

Lenny Kiser is amazing to work with for mixing and mastering. He has mixed over 10 of my own personal dance music tracks (as well as some from my experimental band) and he always nails the mix. His mastering is spot on and he makes sure to work with you by asking for reference tracks to get a better understanding of the desired output. In a world of LANDR and dime a dozen mastering "professionals" lenny cuts through the mix by delivering exceptional results EVERY TIME.

I came to Lenny to have my album mixed and mastered, and all I can say is WOW!! He took it to the next level and made it sound better then I could have ever imagined. He was communicative and took the time to understand exactly what it was I needed. Will definitely be working with again! Thanks Lenny!

  8. A: Both, but primarily digital for dance music because of the laser precision that it provides to create a tight mix and master. A hybrid analog/digital setup for mastering provides for great results.

  9. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  11. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  12. A: I get to work with other artists and like minded people, make my own hours and hang out in a studio all day. I like the creative environment and the artistic and educational process of mastering an art form.

  13. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  14. A: Q. Will I see a more drastic result from mixing rather than just mastering? A. Yes, certain problems will be better fixed in the mix and yield a better result. Q. What file type do I send for Mastering? A. 44,100hz 24 bit Stereo .wav with -6db of headroom. No plugins on master when exporting, no dither applied. Label as "Artist Name - Song Name - Premaster" Q. What do I send for Mixing? A. Export 44,100hz 24 bit Stereo .wav for each individual track in the project. Make sure your levels are not clipping any plugins or tracks and all of your master tracks plugins are turned off when exporting.

  28. A: Noizu because his tracks are some of the cleanest and heaviest hitting tracks I have ever played out while DJ'ing.

  29. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  30. A: Use a spectrum analyzer plugin like Voxengo SPAN on your master (free) to be able to view the frequency balance of your mix along with listening.
