I've been doing a ton of hook work with a lot of producers over the last 3 years (Magestick Records, DJ Pain 1, Golden Day, JefeGot1...). I've wrote, recorded, mixed & performed over 150+ songs in the past 5 years on top of doing session work on Fiverr (5 star rating) and UpWork. Be sure to ask me about certain styles and I can send you samples.
I go by the stage name Dubby (@Dubbygotbars) and I'm from Pennsylvania, but currently work out of Atlanta, Ga.
I have been writing, recording, mixing and performing my music for 9+ years now. I have released over 100 songs on all platforms and have performed along side artists such as Big Sean, B.o.B, Tyga, Kid Ink, Futuristic, Chris Webby, Twista ... to name a few.
As stated before, I've worked with and released a bunch of hooks with a ton of producers and have generated over 3 million combined views on youtube. Example - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J1T65mAkQCc
I recently built my own home studio so my work volume and turn around time has increased tremendously over the past year. Creating and delivering projects on the fly is SUPER easy for me to do. I work with Logic Pro X and have prolific engineering experience with vocal mixing and mastering.
The core of my music is definitely hip-hop. I can rap a verse or an entire song, but I can also switch it up entirely with singing and creating a pop vibe for your project as well. If your song is in the hip-hop/pop realm, we WILL make a banger, I assure you.

Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: My 3rd album, "Heart & Havoc 2"
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I'm going to give our project my all. If my name is on it, then i don't mess around.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Music is life so I want to be able to quit my 9-5 and make music until I die.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: Do you know the BPM and key to your song? Where/how is this going to be released? What vibe are you going for? Do you have any samples of songs that inspired you to create the one we are working on?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: I'm easy to work with. Just know what you want and we can make anything happen. I mean ANYTHING.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: I'm not a techy dude so i don't know exactly what I would bring. It would probably be a good idea to bring the biggest, loudest speakers possible with a mic and just yell for help so I could just sail home and get back to my home studio.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: 10 years now, but I've only been doing session work for about 3 years.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Melodic Trap with lyricism
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Jon Bellion. If you read everything else on my profile, then you know why.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: DON'T OVERTHINK SHIT!
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Hip-hop, pop and lately a lot of EDM, Chill-hop and trap
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Song writing and intriguing lyricism. Can't say the same things the last guy said...and if you do, the melody and cadence needs to be WAY different and WAY better. If it isn't a hit, then I scratch it.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Catchy everything. I like to think I have a good ear for catchy. My guys call me Trap Bellion because I bring that hip-hop grit, mixed with the sweet melodies.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: A lot of humming to find the right cadences and melodies and then i just fill in the words during the writing process.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: It's sexy. Trippy lights, a Lil Wayne painting for lyrically inspiration and all the gear listed in my profile.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I love what Jon Bellion does. His production. His writing. His entire process is some of the most inspiring stuff I've ever heard/seen.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Mostly writing and recording hook vocals, but I also have done a ton of features, in most cases, I rap/sing a 16 bar verse.
