Hi, My name is Jip a.k.a FantomYouth. With 6 years of experience and a degree in music production I will assist you creating the hit you've always dreamt of! If I had to pick my number one thing I love to do it would be audio engineering: making your tracks sound smooth as silk using professional tools handpicked by me.
After I've finished music production school last year I've been busy making, mixing and mastering music & sound for my self and professionally. As I have recently started my career as a professional and I've yet to prove myself in regards to the industry, I'am eager to work together with artists and other professionals on the most epic of projects!
My own imprint I've created recently is called FantomYouth, for I have yet to emerge from being a ghost amongst the masses. I strive to tear down the barriers between genres and just create whatever I wish to, fully reaching my own creative potential as my end goal together with everyone who's with me.
My DAW of choice is Ableton Live 10 and my skill set consists of a wide array of activities including:
- music production
- mixing & mastering
- vocal recording/processing/tuning,
- sound editing in general
- beat making
These are also services that I provide to my clients. If you've got a specific problem that needs solving, make sure to let me know, I might be able to help!
You can contact me for pricing regarding the job that you need done. Generally I'am looking for some cool projects to expand my network and portfolio at the moment, so if you think you got something that fits my profile, again, don't hesitate sending me a message!

Interview with FantomYouth
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: It's different every day, really depends on how I feel. I'am a big fan of huge names like Tyler the Creator, Michael jackson and Kanye west. The Beegees are awesome too, don't forget old-school Hans Zimmer and the Buggles, also love the NWA's earlier stuff! The more obscure artists in my playlists are artists like: Drexciya with their deep sea electronic goodness, the proto-techno berlin band Nitzer-Ebb is something you should check out if you like dark stuff. The list goes on and on ofcourse if you want to discuss music with me I suggest you send me a message!
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: At the moment I do a lot of production and engineering work for a few clients of mine. Some advertisement/promotional video work too so now and then(making music below video). Generally a lot of searching for my place in all this ;)
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: The heart of my studio is an MacBook Pro from 2015 which I only use offline and which is optimized for music production. My DAW of choice is Ableton Live 10. The reason for this is because it allows me to work really fast if I need to get some Ideas in there, but it also offers the possibility to really dive deep into engineering your track if you wish to. For my external audio device I use an Universal Audio Apollo Twin and for monitoring I use a pair of Yamaha HS7's and the Beyerdynamic DT-880 headphones. For workflow purposes I use the AKAI APC-40 controller(the oldschool grey one) because I like the hands on control. I also have an Korg MS-20 which I absolutely love.
