Frequencies are the most vital part of music and I will not put down a project until the frequencies resonate with you :) I was in a band, SondorBlue, and toured the US playing music festivals like Firefly and Summerfest, all-the-while wearing earplugs of course. My specialty is Hip-Hop/R&B, but I love working on all genres across the spectrum.

Endorse JD Moonsuper down to earth guy, incredibly talented artist and engineer. had the opportunity to feature on an album for his solo project awhile back, and it was probably one of the best collabs i've had in my career. i would highly recommend getting ahold of this guy before he takes off big time! ✌️
JD is all around talent that can follow through with great story telling and execution. He is always making choices to better the song- from the subtlety in a mix and master to production and vocals, he is an avid musician that can seamlessly blend narrative ideas and raw talent into a listening experience.
Mastered my track Thriving. Very efficient to work with, a true pleasure, highly recommend!
Mr. Moon mixed and mastered a couple songs for me and they turned out amazing. Hyper attention to detail and very easy to work with. Highly recommend
JD Moon recorded, mixed and mastered my band’s song “child” he’s a super great guy with great equipment and knowledge
JD Moon is the next level when it comes to mixing, mastering and production. He is highly experienced and knowledgable in analog, digital, acoustic and electronic having written and performed in both mediums.
JD excels with a fusion of sounds. He is able to blend complex arrangements that require a surgical approach, and simpler singer songwriter material that requires softer brushstrokes.
Highly recommend +++ 🙌
Mastered a live album for me called Rogue Acoustic. Great work, and very easy to work with.
Interview with JD Moon
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I just recently completed mastering a live album for the band Susto. Currently, I am finishing mixing and mastering the first JD Moon EP, Sunlight, and the second album, Bluelight.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Hybrid if I had the budget, but I am entirely ITB. You're 95% of the way there with UAD plugins. And there are so many new-ish companies like Oeksound, Acustica Audio, and Soudtheory that are making plug-ins that are changing the mixing/mastering game, warranting a lot more people to move towards being ITB.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: For myself, a lot of experiences are very intense–the way I feel them. And It is the same way when I hear a song. I have no choice but to feel it when I hear it and enhance the frequencies that make myself and the client feel the most. The job isn't done until the aforementioned is achieved.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: This has always been my career path, as I have been writing and recording my own music intensively for about 14 years. My engineering journey began over 3 years ago.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Mixing starts with production!
