Griegz on SoundBetter

Australian Producer specializing in mixing and mastering of pop, rock and hip hop music. Over 3 million streams on his Spotify profile and a sound that competes with the top artists of today.

My name is Griegz and I have over 6 years of experience in the music business. As a music producer that has worked with many upcoming artists, I have developed the skills and an ear for the perfect mix and master.

From fixing an average sounding mix by adding depth and punch, to multi-track mixing and mastering, I will take the time to ensure that the final master is to a very high standard, ready for release and able to compete with the big names in the industry.

Communication is key in getting things perfect, so I will be in constant contact throughout the mixing and mastering process to ensure the experience is outstanding. I will provide feedback if certain elements need some tweaking to ensure that all elements of the mix are to a high standard.

If your mix is lacking energy, lacking stereo width, sounds dull, muddy or boomy, or needs certain elements to stick out more in the mix.... I am your guy!

Contact me today and let me know what you need. I am sure I can help without you having to break the bank, with professional sounding mix and masters for just $200.

Let's get your hard work sounding the best it can and ready to put out to the world! I can't wait to work with you!

I'd love to hear about your project. Click the 'Contact' button above to get in touch.

Interview with Griegz

  1. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  2. A: I would love to own analog gear, but it is expensive and takes up a lot of space. For that reason I would have to say digital. Some of the best songs ever produced were made in bedrooms with basic equipment.

  3. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  4. A: Every project I work on is given my full attention and treated as though it is my own. I strive to provide clients with the best possible results for the price they're paying, while building a trusted relationship.

  5. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  6. A: That it isn't a real job. Since family and friends don't understand what's involved with what I do, some tend to think I do nothing with my time.

  7. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  8. A: 1: My Macbook Pro 2: My external hard drive (containing project files) 3: My headphones 4: Mobile phone or Starlink (for internet connection - depending on signal) 5: USB condensor microphone

  9. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  10. A: MGK would be a dream to work with. I love his music and it has honestly helped get me through some of the darkest times in my life. His music changed my life and it would be an amazing feeling to have the opportunity to work with that.

  11. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  12. A: Sometimes taking a break and coming back to the song later with fresh ears is the best thing.

  13. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  14. A: I work with most genres of music, but tend to work mostly with pop, rock, punk and hip-hop music.

  15. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  16. A: Mixing and mastering is my strongest skill. Even with difficult mixes I am able to find ways to add depth, clarity, stereo width and low end enhancement that brings life to any song and making it an enjoyable experience for listeners.

  17. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  18. A: I bring firstly a fresh set of ears that have spent many years working with audio.

  19. Q: What's your typical work process?

  20. A: I like to start by going over the audio files provided and quoting accordingly based on the requirements. My prices are extremely competitive. I then begin processing audio stems if necessary to make sure they are the highest quality with any artefacts removed, before beginning the mix process. During the mix process, I compare audio to reference tracks that my clients may supply and apply EQ, compression, reverb, stereo width, low end treatment, etc. - Every mix and master is done from scratch. I do not use templates and I make sure your song is given my full attention.

  21. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  22. A: I have a highly sound treated commercial grade home recording studio that has been meticulously built for mixing and mastering.

  23. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  24. A: Mixing and mastering, podcast editing and radio advertising
