Aspiring hard-working mixing engineer located in Madrid, Spain.
My name is Jorge and producing music is my passion: it makes me feel the happiest man alive. I've been producing for 8 years and I've worked with artists like Featherweight, L0NER and many more.
My goal is to make sure your music can sound the best it can be, which is the only thing that matters to me.

Interview with Jorge Blanco
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I completely produced, engineered, mixed and mastered the debut ep of a band called Featherweight and it was one of the best experiences in my entire life.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: I would pick my headphones as they are my main monitoring system, my audio interface, a compressor like the 1176, a preamp like the Neve 1073 and a Neumann M149 mic.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Neck Deep is my favourite band and it would be a pleasure for me to work with them.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Commit to sounds, don't be afraid to do it. Our mission as producers is to make records, not to make documents.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: The genre that I mostly work with is Pop Punk and Emo.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: I'm very passionate about my job as I tend to push myself out of my own limits in order to give the best product possible to my clients.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I always try to bring to every song I produce impact, character, dimension and texture.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Chris Lord-Alge, Tom Lord-Alge, Andrew Wade, Eyal Levi, Jordan Valeriote, Butch Vig, Kyle Black, Andy Wallace and Steve Albini are the music production professionals that inspire me the most.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I mostly do mixing and mastering services.
