I'm a producer, songwriter, and mixing/recording engineer based in Oklahoma City with over 10 years of experience in Pop, R&B, Hip-Hop, and Rap. I've had the privilege of working with major artists like Trippie Redd, NBA Youngboy, Bad Gyal, 21 Savage, Yeat, JayDaYoungan, Swae Lee, and many more.

  1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  2. A: Slyrex's "The Great End". Production on Fallen Angels. He's one of the reasons I started, and the fact I could be on an amazing project like that meant the world to me.

  3. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  4. A: I can't say, just watch and see.

  5. Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?

  6. A: D Sims, one of the best engineers and producers I've ever met. He's my biggest inspiration.

  7. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  8. A: Analog, it's raw and it causes me to have an out of this world experience.

  9. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  10. A: No matter what part of the record I worked on, the creativity will be there.

  11. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  12. A: I'm able to be creative and lay my emotions on the line for people to feel them.

  13. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  14. A: How much is this going to cost me? It always depends on your budget, I'm not going to shit on someone If they can't afford my normal rate, but don't expect me to work for free.

  15. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  16. A: That I only make beats.

  17. Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

  18. A: How do you want to approach this, how was your day, and what vibe are you feeling?

  19. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  20. A: No matter what style you have, I promise you, if you're dedicated enough we'll get it done.

  21. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  22. A: A laptop, cellphone that works everywhere so I could get off the island, two speakers and a KORG M1.

  23. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  24. A: I've been doing this since October 2016, and I haven't let my foot off the gas since.

  25. Q: How would you describe your style?

  26. A: It's a mix between pop and trap music, but it always varies depending on whom I'm working with. No matter the artist though, emotion is always there.

  27. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  28. A: I can't name any specific artist, I would love to work with. Every artist is creative, I don't care who they are if they have a dream I want to be apart of it.

  29. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  30. A: Don't overcomplicate any musical composition. Simplicity is key, don't be scared to be simple.

  31. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  32. A: I love working on pop music, but I'll work on any genre needed.

  33. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  34. A: My songwriting, when I write songs, I put all my focus into it to make sure the message gets across flawlessly. Everybody goes through something and sometimes we are scared to face it, so I try to convey hidden feelings when I write.

  35. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  36. A: I can help produce songwriting or musical production for the song, on the flip side I can help with creative direction (cover art, video ideas and directing videos), but if needed I can help engineer a song.

  37. Q: What's your typical work process?

  38. A: I spend twenty minutes to three hours on a beat. The majority of my workday consists of networking or making melodies for other producers to use. On downtime, I spend my time writing songs.

  39. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  40. A: I mainly cook up at studios, causing my studio to be different.

  43. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  44. A: My typical work consists of musical production or vocal recording. I have a tendency to attract pop and trap artists, thus majority of my work falls into those two genres.
