Arranger, composer.

Gabriele on SoundBetter

Roman Born Atlanta based arranger/composer classical guitarist, corporate court Jester. I have a strong aural awareness of how various timbers employed in an arrangement will work together, ahead of the mixing stage. I worked as a composer for an animation project tied to the reboot of a major gaming franchise for Turner Studios/Square Enix.

Ciao, I am Gabriele from Rome Italy, currently in Atlanta Georgia, while receiving my classical training in Rome (with emphasis on composition), I was part of the then florid local Hard Core scene, plying in various bands.

As an instrumentalist, I always try to employ a first draft approach when it comes to building an arrangement; meaning that I usually delineate my sonic/instrumental palette before I begin writing, and maintain an aural awareness of how the various timbers will work together in the mix. This expedites the writing and recording process and usually produces results that facilitate the mixing stage.

When it comes to pop and rock productions, I center my arrangements around the main drum track, assigning different guitar parts to emphasize the various drum kit elements so that they can be modular and easy to manage, and will provide a strong groove no matter how many parts will ultimately be employed.

Even though I wish I was more versatile, and can approximate quite successfully a variety of styles, my stylistic vocabulary is firmly rooted in the various era of American and British psychedelic rock spanning from the late 60s to more modern iterations. If you need exotic sounding electric guitar textures delivered with the appropriate period correct equipment, I am very likely to quickly deliver just that.
