With a Masters degree in music from Belmont University, Bailey brings a strong musical foundation along with her experience from being a top-call performer in Nashville.
Bailey has a big voice to accompany her personality. She naturally has the warmth and soul of Christina Aguilera, the high belt of Idina Menzel, the raw grit of Janis Joplin and the whistle tones of Mariah Carey.
However, her knowledge of vocal technique allows Bailey to stretch her skills out among various genres. “I’m very aware of my vocal mechanism so I can easily adjust my tone, pronunciation, dynamics, whatever is needed. I’ve got a big voice, but I can reel it in and sound like I’m 13 if I have to. It's like I have a sound board in my brain and all I need to do is turn a few knobs.” As a quick learner with a multipurpose voice, Bailey is a great session singer and easy to work with. She can listen to a song two times and be ready to record it in multiple vocal styles, saving the producer time and money.
