Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: A lot can be done and fixed in the mastering process, but a good mix gives You a good mastering and a great mix gives You an awesome mastering.
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: There is a couple of gold certified project, that Im really proud of..
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: My Barefoots, Trinnov ST2 Pro, Imperium Monitor Controller, a laptop and Lynx Hilo
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: My current setup is this.. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: You trust me with your music, so my promise is that I will do all I can to get the best out of your mix.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: All the music. I do mastering on all kinds of music for big labels and small labels to independent artist. And I get a bit addicted to that energy and love, that all of them put in to the music.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: "Can You make my song sound more finished and balanced?" and the answer is always Yes!
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: Do You want a colourful or a transparent mastering? Do You wish for a limited sound or do You want a more open and dynamic mastering? Are there any references, that I should give a listen, when mastering your song?
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: Started playing music in 3rd grade. Got signed when I was 15 years old and found my call in mixing and then mastering. I've been mastering and mixing for 15 years now
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: My style is what suits the song. Dirty´n´Gritty, Clean´n´Transparent or a bit of both
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Less is often more.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: EDM, Hip Hop, Rock, Pop and Electro Pop
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: That depends on the mix and the song. Sometimes almost nothing is the best and sometimes a lot of colour does the job.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I listen, write down my thoughts and the listen again. After that I start working.
