Any. EDM. Genre. You. Want. Right here, by Sonny Costa.
From DJ to Producer, From Singer to Songwriter, Sonny has every quality of a true artist. Being born in Las Vegas had exposed him to the club scene around 2011. Electro Pop is his game and he has been producing music since the early 2010s. His music has influences from artists such as LMFAO & Swedish House Mafia. Not only is his production skilled, but around 2016 confidence in his vocals had given him the inspiration to start writing songs and singing them on his own. Every song he's written has to have a meaning, usually starting from a title. The lyrics are sure to achieve whatever the vibe is.
In present day he sets out to make his music unique. This comes with heavy experimentation of many genres within EDM & pop music. He has wrote and has many songs ready for release. Some are catchy fun tunes, some go hard. On the other hand some of them you can just chill and listen to, but they are all in the same realm. He's dove into all genres of house in the meanwhile, and can easily produce a hit.

Interview with Sonny Costa
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Much new music for my own solo career, Sonny Costa, though I want to be working on YOUR song!
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: Clesto! He is a great producer who I've worked with multiple times.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: You will dance! :D
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Playing with all my sound toys.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That it's hard. It's like telling a doctor what he does is hard. It's not, I just practiced for many years.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Talk with me! I want to get to know you
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Laptop, Keyboard, Mic, Interface, a second monitor, because you ONLY need the bare essentials to make music! It's all about your creativity.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Indie Electronic. The Indie comes from the lyrics, vocals, and vibe, and the electronic comes from the House side.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Redfoo from LMFAO, because I love his Party Rock brand so much! It's all fun.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Use templates to start your projects! It's much easier.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Indie Electronic, Pop, Electro Pop, Chill, Progressive House, Tropical House, Big Room House,
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Producing, for sure. I've been doing it the longest professionally, coming up 8 years since I started.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring a more electronic dance music feel mixed with indie. I'll make sure the vibe is meaningful and not lost.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I usually start with the production, then add the lyrics, then record and vocal comp, but its everchanging. I am very flexible.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I use a Rode NT1 for vocals, Pro Tools to vocal comp, Ableton to Produce and mix, Nektar GX61 keyboard, Focusrite interface. If you have these things, I garuntee you too can do what I do at a certain level. Nothing but motivation from me. Follow your dreams.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Calvin Harris is my favorite artist because I can rely on his music to chart, but also have the flare of his own style that is ever evolving but never straying to far from who he is. He makes what he wants and I respect that. And he is the perfect human, I swear.
