Playing guitar is my passion. Whether it's writing hooks, playing solos, adding some ambience, or even playing simple chord progression, I strive for excellence and provide commercial quality tracks recorded in with industry standard tools, equipment, and software.

I have over 450+ 5 star reviews on the Fiverr platform, and am now migrating to SoundBetter!

We will discuss your goals in depth and capture the sounds you are looking for on your production.

I record my guitar tracks through a variety of amps, interfaces, pedals, and guitars. You have the choice of whatever combination you'd like, or I can choose for you! I will work with you until you are 100% happy with the result. Once we are finished with the project you will receive the isolated stems.

Interview with Ethan Richey

  1. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  2. A: I just finished scoring a short film that will be playing at film festivals soon. I'm also preparing to begin a Master's Program in Film Scoring, and am working on several debut singles for upcoming artists!

  3. Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?

  4. A: I have had the pleasure of working with ARVATI. He is a great producer and I highly recommend him!

  5. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  6. A: I ask that my customers have a clear vision for what they are looking for. It is also helpful if they provide a reference!

  7. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  8. A: Is there electricity on the island? If so, it would have to be my main Daphne Blue Fender Stratocaster, my Vox AC15 amplifier, my laptop, my Apogee Symphony interface, and lastly, my Vanguard V13 microphone.

  9. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  10. A: I began playing at an early age. My father was a talented guitarist and he was gracious enough to teach me. I played my first show at the age of 15, and then began working as a session musician and freelance composer in 2017. After earning 300+ 5 star reviews on the Fiverr platform, I decided to join SoundBetter with the hopes of expanding. Music is my passion, and seeing a happy customer makes my day.

  11. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  12. A: I usually work on indie, pop, and funk music, but can play in just about every genre!

  13. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  14. A: I strive to bring a creative outlook to your project. I have a youthful energy and a pop sensibility, but I also hold great respect and reverence for the amazing artists and musicians of the past. I look at each song as a new project and I add what it needs, rather than what I personally want to play.
