Endorse Samuel HunterMy artist name is Mee And The Band. I have had Sam produce multiple tracks for me. You can look them up to see the quality of his production. Songs such as: Ho'opono pono, Glass Half Full etc. In fact, he completed an album for me of 23 tracks and we scheduled and worked hard to get it to meet a deadline for release, from May - August, that's over 5 tracks a month! Alot of work. He was very accomodating and I am soooo pleased with the results. Love you Sam! You're the best (and my favourite). Let's work again some more.
We at The Photographic Film and Music Community serve to connect young people and we used Sam's services a couple of times. He was efficient to deal with, clearly communicated, met deadlines and our artists reported back that they were very happy and enjoyed working with him. Infact, we had a couple of requests to work with him again. Thanks Sam.
As an up&coming Singer-Songwriter with a debut at Glastonbury Festival, I can say, without hesistance, Samuel is THE producer. Good work etiquette, punctual, communication, and above all is multi-facetted, working across genres both live and electronic. He brings a beautifully nuanced electronic sound to acoustic and live music. Was a pleasure. Check out my song song "losing you", produced, mixed and mastered by him: Fanlink.to/taliesin
Sam has both participated and lead some of my productions. Very understanding and knowledgable producer and musician. A great decision to have him leading or participating in your project.
Samuel helped me to produce my track and it really was a great experience, as he gave me advice and did it brilliant job on the tech side. Would highly recommend
Samuel was an excellent producer to work with. I love his creativity and ability to think outside the box! I look forward to our next project thank you Samuel!
Working with Samuel was a great experience quick and easy communication. The mix and master he produced for me was excellent and the couple adjustments I had where done the same day! I highly recommend working with Samuel!
Sam Produced ana amazing remix of my track. The sounds he created and developed in the production process were outstanding and had the utmost clarity. Working with Sam was easy and the turn around was fast. I look forward to working with Sam again!
I have worked with Samuel on multiple occasions and he has an extraordinary ability to understand what elements an artist wants within a track. He can create a professional and accurate recreation of an artists mental ideas using his knowledge and skill of sound design, melody and harmony. Aside from being a fast and efficient producer, you can rest assured that your song will be professionally mixed and mastered to radio standard. He has been taught by industry professional sound engineers, who are within his family, and shows their passed on wisdom accurately in his own work. 5 stars.
Sam is a highly talented and professional engineer. Definitely can trust with your music creations !
Great ideas and passion
Interview with Samuel Hunter
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Piano, Drums, Electric Guitar, Laptop, Amp.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Disclosure, they are my biggest inspiration. Settle is personally one of the best electronic albums ever made. They are masters of rhythm and syncopation and always manage to create funky grooves in the simplest ways.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: If it 'sounds good', Don't Touch It.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Coming up with unique sounds and melodies.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: My expertise as an electronic producer. I've been producing for over a decade, exploring various styles giving me the flexibility to create a unique sound - whether its dance, pop or rnb. My style is clean and bold. I love the sound of saws and clean bright stabby chords.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Ideas first, then arrangement and structure and then the final polish. If I want a certain sound or style I'll create a sound pallet to make time more efficient and reduce the hours spent finding the 'right' sound.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I prefer producing in the box with some outboard gear. I love analogue synths so my studio is composed of mostly electronic orientated instruments.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I take inspiration from many sources, for electronic production - Disclosure/Jonas Aden/Mr Bill/Marten Horger. For pop I look to artists the weekend and Lil Nas x for there distinctive electronic sounds. If I'm digging a nice vocal reverb then I'll listen to Justin Bieber just to hear how the vocals are produced. I apply this concept to all areas of music.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Production; over a decade spent producing combined with studying Piano and playing the drums places me in an ideal position to create unique tunes from scratch.
