I can handle anything from full album production and recording, to pop programming and piano, b3 wurlie overdubs, with the real deal. I also can do full string orchestrations and MIDI mockups with a positive attitude!
ABOUT ME:
Michael Whittaker is an Emmy nominated pianist, film composer and
producer. I have had many producing and scoring contracts with Sony, Lions Gate, Universal and many more.
As producer/composer he has scored over 300 television episodes and
TV movies including the popular Power Rangers. In 2011 his theme was chosen
as the main theme of the new Disney Family Movies channel. His numerous
awards include an Emmy nomination, a Telly award for his score to the Teenage
Mutant Ninja Turtles series, Bank of America Musical Achievement award,
International Association of Jazz Educators player excellence award, and the
Clarence Brown Memorial scholarship for jazz.
Michaels approach to music is diverse. A Los Angeles native now living in
Nashville Tennessee, Michael has worked with artists worldwide everywhere
from The Jimmy Kimmel live television show, to the Grand Ole Opry , and even
the Olympic games.
Artists from iconic artists such as Lionel Richie, Cake, and Paulina Rubio to indie smashes such as Svrcina, Fjiora, and Boe Bice of American idol have trusted Michael to bring his flavor to their art..
