I have worked composing rock and indie songs, and singing jazz, tango, pop, rock and other genres, while also mixing and producing my work. I can deliver performances in English, Spanish, German, Japanese, and French for any project you have in mind.
Please, always message me before starting an order to discuss if I can match the style and vocal range you're looking for.

Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I love my dissertation because I did it all by myself and because I spent months investigating, writing the songs, the arrangements and the paper, and it was one of the biggest lessons for me.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I decided to record all my songs again from scratch, which I don't suggest because it's not necessary. But now that I already started, I want to see it through.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: I don't think other musicians that I know are on SoundBetter at the moment, but I'd say most people here are probably very talented and professional. If they chose this as a career, it means they take music very seriously.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: I don't have that much space at home, so digital it is.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: To put as much work into their project as I would on my own songs.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I love learning new songs and getting paid for it.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: If I can sing what they want me to sing. The answer is usually yes.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: I have no idea.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: It depends on the project, but usually I just need some audios and lyrics and I'm good to go.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Be sure of what you want and be clear about it; the clearer the instructions, the better we can work to make your idea come to life.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: A guitar because I don't like to sing acapella too much, pen and paper to write down my ideas, maybe a recorder since that's way easier than having to notate all the melodies, and some way to recharge batteries, probably with the sun, because otherwise the recorder wouldn't be useful for too long.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I started taking singing lessons at 15 (so around the year 2010), then I studied classical singing for a while, then went to jazz school, and started taking up work as a vocalist around the time I was finishing that degree.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: My style is mostly calm and sometimes maybe too thought out instead of more improvised.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I really like what Samia is doing right now, and she has very interesting production, so that would probably be fun. Along the same line, also Aurora and Pomme.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: If you're not sure about something, just try a bunch of options out instead of trying to reach an answer inside your head.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I have probably mostly worked with rock and indie rock musicians, because they seem to like my vocals the most.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: The languages I've learned just for fun. It wasn't on purpose but comes very handy as a vocalist compared to those who can only sing in their native tongue.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Mostly emotion. I believe vocals are usually the most human part of a song, since our bodies are the instrument. And it also being the part that carries the lyrics, which express the precise emotions of the songwriter, makes it even more important for the singer to carry those emotions successfully to the listener.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: After a client hires me, I listen to the song for a while, sing on top of it and make some notes that help me memorize the little intricacies better. Then I set up a time to record and spend some time doing take after take, at first still getting familiar with the song and later doing the actual good takes that usually end up being the better ones. After that, I try to do as little comping as possible, so I go through the takes until I stumble onto one that sounds especially good, mark the few parts where I don't like it and look for some alternate versions for those parts.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I record everything at home, where I keep upgrading my equipment whenever I. My newest addition would be the Shure SM7B, which I saved up for after reading that it was especially good for scenarios where you don't really have 100% good acoustics, which is typically the case for home studios compared to professional studios.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: My biggest inspiration in latest years has become Taylor Swift, because her work ethics and creativity after everything that happened with the rights to her music turned me into one of her biggest fans as a fellow singer-songwriter.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I usually get hired by songwriters that simply want female vocals on their songs, like main vocals and harmonies for a full song, or producers that want a hook or bridge sung delicately.
