Producer I Studio Drummer

I've performed across international stages with multiple major-label artists, most notably Coachella, Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits and WE Day Canada. I've also appeared on FOX News, CTV Canada, Good Day New York, Good Morning San Diego, KUSI News, TV2 Norway and Kanal 5 Norway.

My name is Joffen Hopland and I'm an internationally recognized Norwegian drummer and producer in Los Angeles, CA.

I've worked with a variety of artists as a studio musician including KC and the Sunshine Band, Lemaitre, Grammy award-winning producer Joe Chiccarelli, and Stephen Street.

As a drummer and music director I have toured all over the world with several major-label artists, playing for crowds up to 25,000. Having performed so many shows with many different artists has given me a lot of experience as a musician, drummer and performer.

In addition to touring, I’ve also spent the past few years focusing on studio work and music production. As a producer, I've been recognized for winning the official remix contest for AWOLNATION’s “Passion” in 2018, and I have a lot of experience tracking and recording drums.

I can take a rough demo and turn it into a professional sounding song, or I can make you an instrumental from scratch. I set my standards to radio-quality production. Both as a drummer and producer, my expertise lie in pop, electronic, rock, edm and hip-hop.
