Interview with Elliot
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Teenage Engineering OP-1. That's all you need.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: Right now i have a very modest setup with a pair of Genelecs, my beloved macbook where i run Ableton Live as my main DAW , Teenage Engineering OP-1, Korg MS-20 and my Analog Rytm from The Swedish company Elektron. I also got some outboard gear but i find myself working more and more in the box because i find it a lot easier and faster.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Currently i find a lot of inspiration from Beach House, especially their album "Bloom". They have such a dreamy, surrealistic sound, just love it.
