Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: Like We Used To - Tokyo Project, Kleak & Veebu. A song I wrote and produced that got released on proximity.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Many productions in EDM and Mixing and Mastering for artists releasing on labels such as Strange Fruits and Proximity
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: /
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Both. Analog for warmth and originality and digital because it sounds almost as good and is really practical.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I will try my best to get the best sound out of a tracks potential.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Mastering
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: How long it takes to master a song. My answer is 1-3 hours
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: /
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Don't always look for the fastest provider but always look for quality as well.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: My computer, my headphones, a Piano, a Guitar and an interface.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I studied at Berklee College Of Music and recently graduated. I have been doing this for the past 4 years now
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Don Diablo. Because his music inspires me to be a better artist.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Don't be afraid to use samples but never forget to create your own sounds as well
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I usually work on EDM and Pop
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Sound Design and Mastering.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I try to bring punch, warmth and sharpen the sound as much as I can
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: When it comes to mixing I give myself various listening sessions of the track before I start mixing. Then depending on the complexity of the track I mix it in 2 to 6 hours. Then I review it various times.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I have a two monitors (self made). I work in the box all in my mackbook. I use a Scarlett and an Apollo as audio interfaces
