I am an alpha-nerd. I am not afraid to use a 25 db boost @1k.
After 20+ years of jerking analog gear off, I'm right now proudly full-digital. (ask Andrew Scheps and Sylvia Massy why...).
As a Producer and Mixing engineer, I almost always worked at the edges of the musical spectrum:
black metal (Ancient) vs gospel (Lift Your Voice Gospel Choir),
indie-rock (Afterhours) vs industrial-pop (the Corlyx)
nu metal (The Dark) vs jazz (Roberto Binetti)
hip-hop (Bad meets Evil featuring Eminem & Royce) vs 50 piece orchestra OST (Adriano Aponte)
So, if you need a very well mixed pop or trap or country or classic-rock track...maybe I'm not your best choice. (or maybe I AM !?!?!?!)
A word about revisions:
I work very often with marketing people, so...
I hate revisions!
99 percent of times revisions doesn't sound better at all, 1 percent of times sound different.
I think in 2020 almost every musician/client can do all the adjustments needed by himself so:
here's the good news:
If you don't like my work at all you don't have to pay it!!!
If you like it ...well... you pay for it and I will provide you all you need to play with the mix:
- the mix session, (Protools or Reaper).
- stems, down to every single track in the mix if needed
P.S. I mix @ -12 LUFS which is a good compromise between loudnes excitment and streaming services.
