I am a music producer/ mixer/ engineer based in LA. I specialize in Pop, Indie Pop, Pop Rock. I have recorded/produced/written songs for Universal, Warner, EMI, Disney, Fox, Warner Bros, NBC, EA. Some of the artists I worked with include P!nk, Julia Michaels, Taeyon (#1 Album), Martha Sanchez (#1 song).I have over 1000 TV/Film/Ads syncs

I have worked as a producer/ mixer/ songwriter for over 20 years.
I toured and released records as the guitarist of Indie Rock band Cartoon Boyfriend where I learned music production from 2 mentors: Ken Scott (The Beatles, David Bowie, Elton John) and Kenny Kerner (Kiss, Bad Finger.)
Although I specialize in Pop and indie Pop music, I’ve worked with artists of many genres and nationalities: Pink, Julia Michaels, Country legend Crystal Gayle, D.J. Paul Oakenfold, European/Latin icons Martha Sanchez and Eros Ramazzotti, K-POP superstar Taeyon, Sizzla, just to name a few.
I also write and produce songs for Film/TV/videogames. I have over 1000 syncs (including the Title track for “Home Alone 3” and “Nothing Like The Holidays”.) I was the Music producer of EA's Goldaeneye.

Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: A pop country record for talented duo Savvy And Mandy

Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Digital. I useed to own a few analog consoles (MCI, Trident) i sold them , nowadays clients are all used to instant total recall, no one has the patience for a one day mix recall anymore. Plus nowadays digital sounds very close to analog.

A: POP , Indie POP, Alt and indie rock

A: versatility, creating the right sound for the song.

Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I write , produce and mix for singers and bands. When I take on a project I try to develop a specific unique sound for the artist involved by assembling the right team, and using the appropiate production techniques .

A: ill be honest on what can be achieved with the budget you have

A: Q; can you make it sound like rhianna ( or drake, or Adele etc ...). ? A: yes if you give me rhianna.

A: thats evey song production or mix has the same path to completion

A: what is their final goal with their project

A: use your ears not your eyes.

Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I was in indie rock bands, i started oproducing a=other bands and when my band broke up i kept on producing. I opened a commercial studio in hollywood I had for 5 years, the i started to work for film, TV and videogames companies, now im doing it from my private studio. music 30 years, production 18.

A: song based .

A: The Beatles, because they were the best

A: dont get stuck on something for too long
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: vision, a detached prospective
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: assemble the right writing team ( if artist is open to co-writes or doesn't write) , create the basic structuremock up of the song,once is approved by artist , go ahead and finalize the production either by improving the track programming, or if needed by adding musicians, record final vocals, mix and mastering.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: i have a private studio in los angeles where i run Pro Tools HD, i use traditional vintage gear like Neve, Urei1176, focusrite etc.I have Telefunken, Neumann AKG and bunch of other mics, tube, condensers, dynamic. lots of guitars, amps, I also use bigger state of the art studios to track drums and strings as needed.
