Mixing with a preference for rock (indie, noise, math, cold) and folk projects . I give to your music a very powerful and natural sound ,respectful of the artist's vision. References: Steve Albini,Coltrane,Jesus Lizard,Girls against Boys,Neil Young,Miles Davis...

Who am i ?
Hello my name is Vince.
I am 49 and i am a mixing engineer at Le Café Mixé in France.
I using an hybrid method (analog console) to get a thicker and tri dimensional sound.

What i do.
I start by classifying the tracks by groups (drums, guitars, vocals, etc.). Each track is checked and cleaned if necessary. I then check the correct alignment of the tracks of instruments recorded by multiple microphones to avoid phase problems which cause frequency cancellations and therefore loss of punch and consistency.
A first mono mix of the song is made and then follows in-depth mixing work (eq, compression, panning, effects, etc.).

A first version of the mix is sent to the artist for a first review.
Once the version is validated, I send it to the artist in the format he wants (wav, flac, mp3).

Send me a note through the contact button above.

Vince did an excellent job mixing our song. Easy going and good to work with, Vince responded very well to feedback from the initial draft to match the song with our style. The final result demonstrated a commitment to quality and a great understanding of music. Many thanks!
