They say nothing is impossible, but I do nothing every day. Except audio.. I do audio every single day.
Orange County based recording and mix engineer at your service! I love dogs, pizza, and a well performed track :). I have an obsession with pull ups and on the side I tutor and teach classes for audio students down at Fullerton Junior College.
I record out of the MAPS Fullerton facility and commit audio through an Audient ASP4816 and various pieces of outboard awesomenes. All mixing is done ITB.
Session drummer available upon request (rock, pop-punk, some metal, some jazz)

Interview with Frank's Place
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Within reason; I love working without samples (although I take drum samples every time just in case) or having to do extensive editing (adjustments are necessary sometimes, but I'm not super in love with editing note for note). But if the job/production requires those elements to bring the vision to life I'm all for it! I love the ebb and flow of a real performance and a modest but fulfilling mix.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Rock, Metal, Country, and Singer/Songwriter are my favorite. Not uncommon to also record/mix Hip Hop and archival Jazz performances.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Analog during the recording process for flavor, color, sculpting. Mixing ITB because plug-ins are amazing :)
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Kemper, Guitar, Apollo Twin, iLok, and an outboard pre-amp
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Get it right during tracking :)
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I mix ITB at home but for recording I engineer out of the MAPS Fullerton facility. Beautiful and vibe-y studio with a plethora of awesome equipment to choose from
