It's been great working with Hannah. She mixed and mastered a UK garage track. Always very helpful and accommodating.
Hannah mixed my track “Get Rich To This (ft. RasKass)” it all came out clear and well placed. Excellent work, looking forward to working together in the future.
Hannah is INSANE! She is incredible to work with. I just recently release a song called "Don't Wanna Feel Anymore" and the song would not be what it is without her. She both mixed and mastered it and it sounds so professional. I have received so many compliments on the quality of the music and this is all in thanks to her. Incredible engineer! Definitely knows what she is doing. 10/10 recommend!
She mixed & mastered one of my remixes... and It sounds amazing. Mix & Master so clean and good. 🙏
Hannah recently mixed and mastered my single ‘Changes’ and I really loved the final product, she did an amazing job!
We worked on my track, Made Me Feel. She did a superb job from cleaning the vocals from pops and volume imbalances. The track turned out clean with lofi textures that I requested. Apart from that, she is punctual with her work by updating me way before the due dates. Hannah also helped me find playlists on Spotify that I can send tracks to as well as actively sharing my song on her platforms and attending to the premiers. She is concise and soft spoken, open to receive any feedback. I recommend everyone to work with her and I am looking forward to work with you again. Keep it up magic fingers!
Recently I got my track "You and me" mixed and mastered by Hannah and I really happy with the result, she's friendly and I'm looking forward working with her again.

Interview with Hannah Cowell
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: During my first year at PBMS I met a producer called CONFLUENCE and performed a mix & master on his track Dreamer and it became his first track to get over 1000 streams on Spotify and even got promoted on the YouTube channel Wanderlust.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I aim to bring versatility to a song and by that I mean make sure the song sounds as intended through each speaker it's played through.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: Upon leaving secondary school at 16, I took an extended diploma in music production and technology. During that time I was doing occasional shifts as a live sound engineer at a small, local venue. After achieving my extended diploma, I began my bachelor's degree at Point Blank Music School where I will graduate in June 2022.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Getting fooled by loudness is a common mistake for beginners, especially when learning things like compression. To fix this you should gain stage all of you audio and perform a fader mix to set your volume before hand. So when you start adding FX you will see on your level meter if you're just making the sound loud or actually mixing it.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Definitely being around creative people and seeing their passion for what they do, their enthusiasm definitely rubs off on me and inspires me to do their work justice.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: As a lover of Club music, I've worked especially hard on getting a defined low end and high end. Those are the ranges that make people move on the dancefloor.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: EDM from the early 2010s is what got me into music production. The pop and electronic blend that producers like Avicii, Martin Garrix and Calvin Harris produced at the time was so uplifting.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I like to have a clear structure when it comes to instrument placement within the mix. I go through a gain staging process which allows me to get an accurate volume balance. I also use this process to get what elements I want to be the loudest and place other supporting elements beneath them.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I mix primarily in the box. I use Logic Pro X which I have sat a 3-month module for so I have a good understanding of its features which allows me to work quickly. For monitoring, I use Ollo S4 semi-open back headphones for a flat response and use low budget headphones to test and reference on.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I work regularly with a progressive deep house artist called CONFLUENCE as well as vocalists within pop.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Clients tend to send all their stems to me for a full song mix, once the mix has been revised and the client is happy with the result I am asked to master the track.
