A: I like to discuss whether the buyer has exact plan about what she/he needs from me or she/he would like me to come up with ideas. After that I'm ready to work on the recording, it usually takes 1-2-3 days depending on how complex it is.

A: I have an AudioTechnica condenser microphone and a Steinberg interface. I use a trumpet and a flugelhorn mixed with several mutes for recording.
