Matt Very built Very Tight Recordings from the ground up. The studio’s D.I.Y. backbone coupled with the work hard mentality, make him an exceptional engineer to work with. In addition to over 10 years of experience in the recording industry, he has worked with a wide range of artists on Roadrunner, Warner, Deathwish, and Metal Blade.
Not an engineer who bought his way into owning a studio. I earned it. Learned from scratch, started with nothing and now I’m here. A quality engineer has plenty of experience. You can’t buy that. All the gear in the world won’t make you a good engineer.
As technology advances, recording has become more and more accessible. Tons of facilities exist that are capable of turning out an acceptable product. The search for a studio is not only finding a quality studio, but also an engineer who shares your your musical interests, goals, and ideas. Someone who is willing to see a project through from beginning to end.
Whether you’re new to the studio or a seasoned veteran, you’ll have my respect, creative input, and hardworking mindset. If it is your first time to the whole professional studio, don’t be afraid to ask for help. I’m more than happy to answer and questions and guide you through the whole process. The last thing I want is to sit back and take your money while watching you get frustrated. You’re going to be treated you like you should be treated. You’re paying money for studio services. The last thing you want is an overly expensive engineer or big name to not give a damn about your project. I give each project the attention it deserves.
