Michael Alvarez (AKA Death Kitty Disco) has won Best Acoustic Guitarist in the San Antonio Guitar Wars in '95 AND '97 as well as Best Electric Guitarist, as well as various awards as a chef. He has been signed with popular local artists , recording several well selling punk albums, produced 2 Cd's and has toured professionally. Michael writes and plays all genres of music, having played with bands that play Texas Country, Rock, Pop, Punk, Metal,Latin, Alternative, Funk, Flamenco Jazz, Disco, Blues, etc.
