I strive to deliver warm mixes with plenty of emotion and dynamics
I've been involved in music at a professional level for the past 11 years, ranging from major festival gigs in Norway, my home country, to small club tours across Europe. During my time as a songwriter, vocalist and guitarist in a band filled with sound enthusiasts, my focus gradually shifted towards an interest in microphones and recording tools.
Over the past four years, my focus has primarily been on recording music from the local scene in Oslo, where I've had the opportunity to record and mix several albums for both established and emerging artists. Genre-wise, I mostly work within indie-pop and indie-rock, but I'm an avid listener of various genres and am keen to contribute to even more pop-related genres or harder types of music.
I work from my studio in Oslo, where I thoroughly enjoy the physical aspect of mixing - turning knobs, routing sound through equipment, automating movement into elements of the music... I also have proficiency in several instruments such as guitar, bass, synth, various percussion instruments, and vocals.
