  1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  2. A: I worked on many project that i'm very proud of and can never take none of it for granted... i'm very blessed and humble.

  3. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  4. A: BET Network The Family Business Drama Series

  5. Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?

  6. A: not at this time.

  7. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  8. A: Both. since i'm from the era of Analog The hybrid sound of both can be rewarding... linear digital sound and adding Lows by using some analog gear is a plus...

  9. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  10. A: I never promise nothing to anyone, what I would say is lets get the work in, and our effort would pay off...

  11. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  12. A: FREEDOM to express yourself!!!

  13. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  14. A: 1. Q- Can the project be done ASAP? My answer, Huh lol 2. Q - if I didn't write the song , can i still get writers and pub... My answer, it's all negotiable.

  15. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  16. A: many don't think the the producer has much value. Let me elaborate, Many artist think that we are just a service provider for their music fulfillment, no budget planning. this was not how it was back in the days, unfortunately, many are misguided on the process of a music producer, many component go to create music. creating and idea, capturing it with the help of producing Vocals, then mixing and mastering... What's it worth to and artist now-days?

  17. Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

  18. A: 1.what's their goals on a song and budget to promote properly 2.would they have and open mind to other ideas 3.are they ready to put in the hours that would take the project to the next level.

  19. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  20. A: to make sure the product provided is authentic and to stay away from producer that uses samples. clearances are costly and being sued for not clearing sample can ride you to the poor house..

  21. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  22. A: 1.Mac Book 2.Native Maschine 3.Native Komplete 4.Lynx Hilo ADDA Converter 5. My Bible

  23. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  24. A: 1989 til this day with Multi Platinum wins and Nomination, I can say I fulfilled my dreams

  25. Q: How would you describe your style?

  26. A: My style its a combination of R&B/POP with a Cinematic layer.

  27. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  28. A: I've worked with many of the best in this industry, but definitely I would love to work with Adele. her songs are very explosive and colorful with real substance, I can feel it. That's my style...

  29. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  30. A: Create from The heart and don't be afraid to explore new sounds and melodies.

  32. A: R&B Trap Soul Music, Pop, Reggaeton Latin Urban, Score/Soundtrack

  33. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  34. A: creating new concept and strong narrative to a song

  35. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  36. A: unique sound that don't sound the same in much of the music we hear today.

  37. Q: What's your typical work process?

  38. A: 50% Producing, 30% scouting new leads for Tv Projects and 20% Mixing

  39. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  40. A: Its' A basic Mastering Lab Set for mix and mastering . great ADDA converters and great ADAM monitors

  41. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  42. A: Hans Zimmer, Prince

  43. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  44. A: I Produce and A&R projects. I worked on jingles and scoring on various tv shows. (example) Lincoln Heights, Burn Notice, Kevin Hart BET show Real Husband of Hollywood
