I'm hip to what the kids are listening to these days, so let me hook you up with a bass groove that will take your song or beat to the next level. Equally at home in the studio and on the stage, I've opened for artists such as 21 Savage, Big K.R.I.T and Kota the Friend.

I'm a session bassist based in Nashville, TN, and my work spans genres like hip hop, pop, neo-soul, funk and rock. I love working with producers, beatmakers and artists who need effective bass grooves for their music, and I've developed a reputation for getting the job done quickly. In addition to fretted bass guitar, I also offer fretless and upright bass, as well as a variety of synth bass sounds. I'd be more than happy to create an original bass part for your music or to replay an existing bass line that you would like to have recorded on a real bass.

I loved working with Charlie! He responded quickly and has a great ear for production. He's obviously very creative and hardworking, I can't say enough positive things, but anyone looking for that extra magic to take their song over the top, Charlie's your guy!

Charlie's a great bass player who is professional and can definitely lay down a sick baseline for your track!

A slick bassist with the chops you need.

Charlie is a super dope and reliable bassist. He sounds great on upright and electric, and is one of the few bassists I've met that has spent some time developing unique, synthy sounds for his bass. Charlie always has been super responsive and timely with his recordings for me, and I'm always impressed with his professionalism. I highly recommend to anyone looking to add some nice low end to a song!

Charlie is the best bassist I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. His taste and musical palette is so diverse and deep he’s able to fit to any style of song and it’s incredible to watch him pocket his bass lines perfectly for any occasion. He’s incredibly hard working and professional as well, willing to try multiple different ideas to find the exact right fit. Working with Charlie has been an absolute pleasure and I am psyched to continue with him for all my bass needs
